During our month of Generocity one of our goals is to give to specific ministries that are doing the Kingdom work as the serve the needs of our city of Knoxville.  Our hope is that Waters Edge could overwhelmingly bless them to enable them to continue in their important work.  Below are the 3 ministries we are partnering with:
Angelic Ministries seeks to reach out to those in greatest need in the city with the practical love of Christ, by providing them furniture, clothing, linens, kitchen supplies, and other needed household items at no cost to them.  Angelic also coordinates with local churches to provide meals for the hungry but during this season of COVID many churches have had to back out.  This has often left Angelic with the financial burden of feeding these needy individuals.  Through our giving of Generocity Waters Edge would like to enable Angelic to never have to turn a hungry person away or go into deficit in order to feed them.
Wes and Sarah Grace Mills, through our Fellowship of Churches, started Mosaic 2 years ago  in the heart of the Whittle Springs neighborhood.   As a  church, they organize around missional communities that encourage, empower and equip others to be people of the Way, for the good of our city.   Wes and Sarah constantly find themselves coming to the needs of desperate people.  The community they serve may never be able to fully financially support the Mills so we at Waters Edge count it a privilege to give to their ministry so they may continue in their work.
Aaron and Megan Loy, through our Fellowship of Churches, started Commonwealth 1 year ago in South Knox.  Their dream is to serve, steward, train and equip ordinary followers of Jesus to live as missionaries in the places they live, work, and play.  Commonwealth is reaching people in South Knox that would never walk through the doors of a church.  As they stand in the gap for these individuals, we at Waters Edge want to be a blessing to them and enable them to continue in their mission.
